Author Guidelines

1. Abstract Guidelines

In the abstract, the authors must make a clear statement about the topic of the paper, the main purpose of the paper, and the research questions.

The abstract should briefly describe the work to be discussed in the paper, the research methodology and also give a concise summary of the research findings.

The abstract should be self-contained and provide readers with a clear understanding of the study without requiring reference to the main text. Figures, tables and diagrams should not be included, and references and citations should generally be avoided.

The abstract should be done within the word limit of 250 - 300 words.

Following the abstract, authors should provide:

• 3–5 keywords, listed in alphabetical order and separated by commas;
• the relevant JEL Classification Codes.

2. Manuscript Content Guidelines

General requirements:

Manuscripts should present a clear purpose for research, an appropriate theoretical and/or conceptual foundation, a transparent methodological approach, and conclusions supported by the analysis and results.

The manuscript should be logically organised and should generally follow the structure below:

1. Introduction
2. Research Elaboration, including a detailed description of the Research Methodology in its first part
3. Results and Discussions
4. Conclusions
5. Acknowledgements, where applicable
6. Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies in the Writing Process, where applicable
7. References

Subsections may be introduced where necessary to ensure a clear and coherent presentation of the research.

3. Formatting Guidelines

Authors should prepare their manuscripts strictly in accordance with the official REASER Paper Template. The template contains the required page layout, styles, headings, authors’ names and affiliation format, abstract and keyword styles, tables, figures, captions, references and other technical formatting requirements.

Authors should use the predefined styles included in the template and should not modify the document layout, margins or styles.

Manuscripts may not exceed 15 pages, including tables, figures and references.

4. Submission and Double-Blind Review

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission platform (OJS).

In addition to the complete manuscript, authors must upload a Blinded Manuscript for peer review. The blinded version must not contain names, affiliations, acknowledgements or any other information that could reveal the identity of the authors.

REASER applies a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of the authors are concealed from reviewers and the identities of reviewers are concealed from authors.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the blinded manuscript has been appropriately anonymised before submission.

5. Originality, Copyright and Permissions

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, that no substantial part of it has been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that all authors have approved its submission.

Authors are responsible for obtaining any permission required for copyrighted material, including data, figures, images or other third-party content included in the manuscript.

Submission also implies that the authors accept the journal's applicable copyright and publication conditions.

6. The use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation

REASER journal may permit the use of genAI in manuscript preparation under the following conditions:

• Any use of genAI must be disclosed in the “Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies in the Writing Process," which will appear in the published work. Authors should document the AI tool used (e.g., Scopus AI or Elicit), the purpose of its use, and the level of human oversight. When relevant, the use of AI in the research process should also be described in detail in the methods section. The authors must confirm they subsequently reviewed and edited the generated content and assume full responsibility for the final publication.
• GenAI may be used to refine manuscripts, such as improving language or formatting, but must not be used to create, alter, or manipulate research data, images, measurements, references, or other research evidence.
• Authors must ensure they have the necessary rights to all content uploaded to public genAI platforms, considering confidentiality and proprietary rights. The author should be aware that any content uploaded to a publicly available genAI platform could be used in future genAI outputs by others.

• AI tools do not qualify for authorship, and they must not be listed as authors of a manuscript.
